Common Questions We’re Asked About Dentistry

The cost of dental treatments can vary from person to person, depending on the treatment you may need. When we recommend a specific treatment, we will discuss the pricing of the treatment plan and explain the various financing options that best suit your needs. We offer third-party financing and insurance options to fit most everyone’s financial needs.

Our office welcomes walk-ins and accepts emergency cases. Dental emergencies are unexpected and can sometimes be terrifying, depending on the type of emergency. We treat emergencies ranging from persistent toothaches to knocked-out teeth. If you are experiencing anything other than a dental emergency, contact 911 to seek medical treatment.

We recommend coming in for your cleanings every six months. In an ideal world, everyone would brush and floss their teeth twice a day. Over time, plaque builds up, and this sticky, bacterial film can solidify and turn into calculus or tartar. The hygienist removes this cement-like substance at regular cleaning visits, preventing future complications and periodontal disease. This helps not only to keep your mouth healthy and clean, but also to identify and diagnose potential problems earlier.

We recommend sensitivity toothpaste, which contains strontium chloride or potassium nitrate. These toothpastes are very effective in treating sensitive teeth. After a few weeks of use, you may notice a decrease in sensitivity. Highly acidic foods, such as oranges, grapefruits, lemons, tea, and soda, can increase tooth sensitivity and counteract the effects of sensitive toothpaste. If you do not get relief by brushing gently and using desensitising toothpaste, schedule an appointment so we can check your oral health.

In today’s dentistry, there are many options for replacing a missing tooth. If you’re missing a single tooth or a few right next to each other, we can restore them using a dental bridge. If your tooth loss is more extensive and you’re looking for a more permanent solution, we may recommend dental implants. Both options provide a comprehensive smile solution, allowing you to leave the same day with a beautiful smile.
